Museo de la Cultura Lojana

Art, archaeology and ethnography of the province in a republican-era building on the Central Park.

On the south side of the Central Park, in a republican-era building that once belonged to the Central Bank, the Museum of Loja Culture brings together art, archaeology and ethnography from the province in seven rooms.

It has been run by the Ministry of Culture since 2010. It is a good starting point for understanding Loja’s history before exploring the centre.
