Jipiro recreational park, in the north of the city, covers more than ten hectares and is known for its architectural replicas: a Chinese pagoda, a mosque, Moscow’s St Basil’s Cathedral, a medieval castle and African huts.
There is also an artificial lake, a heated pool, a BMX track and a camping area. At weekends it welcomes thousands of visitors.
It is a must for families with children and for photographers, especially in the morning light.
